Ep5. The Great Empath Myth
Who else sometimes has a bit of a giggle at those posts on social media titled "Five Signs You Are An Empath"?
I mean, let's be honest here - you could make those posts about anything and people would identify with them to make themselves feel special. Five signs you're a house plant, fire signs you're a lap dog ... I could go on but you get the point!
We are all empathic to a certain degree. Some more so than others but no one is an actual Empath.
So let's flip the script and focus more on empathy being a way in which we experience energy, as opposed to it being a label that defines ourselves or set ourselves apart from everyone else.
We are all in this human ride together, so let's lean in and embrace it, not escape it!
